Investigations

A prompt and thorough investigation conducted by an experienced investigator is key to resolving workplace disputes and defending against claims.  Solomon Law conducts thorough investigations that can withstand legal scrutiny because we have conducted and overseen hundreds of investigations.  Our experienced investigators have also been deposed and have testified at hearings to defend their investigations.  We also specialize in and have certified investigators to conduct Title IX investigations.

Solomon Law’s clients have included local governments, international banks, entertainment companies, real estate corporations, financial investment firms, unions, public agencies, religious organizations, and non-profits.  Some notable investigations include extensive work for the State Bar of California and the SAG-Producers Pension and Health Funds.

Nancy serves as outside counsel for clients in a diverse range of businesses.  Her clients appreciate her working collaboratively to reach solutions that not only comply with the law but also lead to a productive and engaged workforce because, at the end of the day, all employers want their businesses to thrive.   Nancy brings large-law firm experience as well as business knowledge gained from serving as a General Counsel to her practice, and she values the close working relationship she has developed with clients.

Executive Counseling

Sometimes executives will benefit from one-on-one counseling to more thoroughly understand their obligations as a supervisor.  Personal training not only fulfills the employer’s obligations to take prompt, remedial action to end inappropriate behavior, but it also allows employees to ask questions of an experienced litigator.  We understand what occurs when claims lead to litigation and can best advise your executives on how to curtail their behavior to be compliant with the law.

Trainings

Solomon Law provides trainings for management and non-supervisory employees on all aspects of employment law, including required sexual harassment training for supervisors under California law.  Nancy prides herself on being accessible and able to explain legal obligations to employees in a variety of industries and any setting.  In fact, Nancy has trained employees at movie studios, on television sets in between taping, in living rooms of personal homes, and in conference rooms throughout California.
